For close to 18 years, GOLDEN has been exhibiting at Creativeworld, the leading international trade fair for paper, office supplies, stationary and art supplies. Every year GOLDEN looks forward to having this time to visit with friends and trading partners. Golden Artist Colors Develops New Lecture Series on Materials for Oil Painting
Golden Artist Colors is considered a leader in technical advances and material applications within the art community. To further share technical knowledge, GOLDEN is developing a new lecture program which provides an overview of the various materials used in oil painting to help the artist make informed choices in their work. The lecture runs approximately two hours and covers several topics including ground preparation, nuances of various pigments and mediums, and how different material choices can impact creative results and archival quality. The lecture is largely brand agnostic but will highlight certain aspects of the Williamsburg line where appropriate. The lecture is in development and will go live sometime in Q2 2017. The lectures will be conducted by four professional artists, based in New York, South Carolina, California and Virginia, and will be available in limited geographies in 2017.
The primary venue for these free lectures is colleges and universities with limited appearances at retail stores, art group gatherings and trade shows.

GOLDEN Working Artist Program Accepting Applications for New Artists
Golden Artist Colors is currently accepting applications for artists in Texas, Arizona, Michigan, Kansas City, MO, and Salt Lake City, UT. The GOLDEN Working Artist Program is an exclusive team of international professional artists who share in-depth information and techniques with other artists. This is a part-time independent contractor position presenting Lectures on the GOLDEN Acrylic System to colleges, art stores and art groups. This opportunity suits artists needing time to paint and devote time to their career, but who also love to educate and teach. Applicants should have a minimum of a BFA or the equivalent with a studio practice and show history. Those selected will receive in-depth technical training.
